Curriculum Overview

Language subscription box for ages 3 to 10 years. Hands on and fun learning, lots of crafts.

The Hola Amigo Box is best as a supplemental to aid in learning Spanish in a fun way. We use the Hola Amigo subscription box, combined with reading children’s books in Spanish to teach our son the language.

Andrew’s Feed: “I like the games, the books, the projects. It’s so much fun to get the box, I run to the mail-lady when she delivers the ‘Hola Amigos’ box so I can open it and see what’s there.”

Pros:

> Fun, colorful and kid-friendly
> You get a lot in a single box plus additional suggestions
> Every box comes with 2 great books, games and a large selection of crafts

Cons:

> A bit pricey (but you get a lot)
> You, as a teacher, should have learned some basic Spanish to help
> It’s not very open-and-go; you get a kind of monthly schedule but it sitll requires you to own it
> It’s sometimes not quite enough material to last a whole month, but it’s easy to find additional books and activities to supplement
> I wish they were providing the text for songs
